Clayton was Gary's abstraction, he created this character. So when Gary passed, I was feeling a flake of panic in people'southward faces. I could tell that they were not really certain [what the future held]. I kind of got my bearings together and thought, 'What'south going to happen at present with the character?' I live in a world called You Never Know, and then I'g always prepared for everything.
Duane Henry joined NCIS as a invitee star in Season 13, with Clayton Reeves brought in to shoulder some of the loss when longtime star Michael Weatherly made his own headline-making exit at the end of that flavour. And information technology was quite the impactful get out, with Reeves taking the bulk of a mugger'south gunfire in the previous episode, which too put Abby in hospital. (It was only after his death that it was explained how that mortiferous incident tied back to a Flavor six case.) And in one case Abby came to realize that Reeves died protecting her, she made the decision to accompany his body back to London and to go out the NCIS in club to start up a charity for homeless women.
To be sure, Duane Henry'due south exit from NCIS was an amicable i, and wasn't mired in strife or conflict. The histrion is proud and charmed about his time on one of Goggle box's biggest primetime hits. And when TVLine asked how he felt most Agent Reeves going out like he did, here's how he responded:
